We went there to meet family for dinner. The decoration is neat and funky. The restaurant is wide open and comfortable. There was no wait for a table at all. Our server was a lovely young woman who gave us enough time to look at the menu before you placed our orders. She was helpful with what to order and the size of the entrees. She was friendly and sweet.
It’s tough to find a local place open for lunch on Monday. So while I don’t like hitting a chain restaurant, it was not going to be a fast food joint, so this place hit the spot. You definitely feel like you are local with a great choice of local Wisconsin beers, but these guys were almost like Ciserones (hospitality professionals with proven experience selecting beer, serving beer and pairing food)! An unexpected pleasure!! We were there three hours and could have stayed longer. The burger of the month was a spectacular dill burger cooked to perfection and with enough dill to matter but not too much to overpower the meat and cheese. Our other choice was the Kentucky Bourbon Classic—great sauce and the French fried onions made it all work together. And the fries? Deliciously seasoned and served hot. White cheese curd starter is a must in Wisconsin!! For beer we had a few samples and tried four full glasses we never had before: Nemesis Divina—Porter, warPigs USA Brewing (great chocolate finish), Robert the Bruce—Scottish Ale, 3 Floyd’s Brewing (Full bodied with great malts), Mango Cart—Fruit Beer, Golden Road Brewing (I’m not in love with fruit beers but the mango was so light and crisp), and finally Milk Stout—Nitro, Lefthand Brewing Company (nice brown sugar, coffee, and chocolate flavor, but I don’t love the “flatter” taste of a nitro). Will definitely return to this location!!!
First timer! Will be a return customer for sure! Not only was Kyle awesome, recommended things from his own perspective of having the burgers to what other customers like , not only were the cheese curds phenomenal! But the burgers! The kids Mac! I mean atmosphere! You got frickin 47 items on tap!! And great selection too! Atmosphere is a 10, service IMPECCABLE!!! Food! Def coming back for that Mac and cheese burger have tried at so many places but this one hit the jackpot! Check out those pics! Came in around open (11am) ! Should def come check it out if you’re in the area! Everyone has there perspective on things! But by far a really good place! Also had the jalepeno popper burger and would also say that’s a great go to as well!
Food was awesome! The trivia was super fun! Service was top notch. Will definitely return. Oh, and HUGE selection of beers. The free cookies are a nice touch! Love it!
Don’t Come here Monday Lunch. Lunch Specials aren’t correct on website. Bartender was cool. Some manager ruined my entire experience by using waaaAaaay too much chlorine to clean the bar and it totally ruined my pallet. As I am writing this I still smell chlorine. So much for trying the food.
very good as always! I had the Kentucky bourbon classic, but had them put it on a grilled chicken instead of a burger. Very good choice with sweet potatoes fries. Very friendly staff and the beer choices were amazing like always.
Great outdoor eating service. Excellent Philly sandwich and Parmesan cheese fries. Potato Mac and cheese was excellent as well. Service was friendly and fast.
This place has fantastic food! I would come back there. The food was very hot, not warm. The Onion rings melt in your mouth. Vary Delicious!
